Slut Walk Philadelphia, New AmeriCorps Members Swearing In Ceremony at the National Constitution Center; Another batch of ACTS members began their year of service by participating in the Statewide AmeriCorps; Swearing-In Ceremony; Webinar announcement: “Familismo: Bridge or Barrier to Improved Health Outcomes for HIV-Infected Latinos.” Target Audience: Physicians, physician’s assistants, nurses and advanced practice nurses. Participants engaged in a study of the Latino family dynamic and explore ways to utilize family-based approaches to improve health outcomes for Latinos living with HIV. Worlds AIDS Day Candle Light Vigil; Members from the community, TPAC staff and ACTS volunteers gathered together to commemorate the lives of loved ones, as well as to spread awareness about HIV/AIDS

 

                                               In 2013-14, TPAC:

  • Tested 1200 individuals
  • Certified 45 new HIV Prevention Counselors and Testers 2013 and 2014
  • 30 new and veteran volunteers serve in 2013-14
  • Continue to be a registered Private Voluntary Organization (PVO) under USAID
  • 1000 individuals access POL program in 2013 and 2014
  • Served over 3,500 individuals through training, clothing bank, HIV Hotline, and other outreach activities in the Philadelphia Metropolitan Area

In 2012, TPAC:

Tested 731 individuals

Certified 60 new HIV Prevention Counselors and Testers

Certified 200+ HIV Prevention Counselors and Testers in Mexico through WHCI Latin America

52 ACTS members graduated for the 2012-2013 year of service

Continue to be a registered Private Voluntary Organization (PVO) under USAID

Served over 3,000 individuals through trainings, the Clothing Bank, HIV Hotline, and other outreach activities in the Philadelphia Metropolitan Area

 

In 2011, TPAC:

Tested 1,500 individuals within 14 sites

Tested 500 individuals on-site

Certified 29 new HIV Prevention Counselors and Testers

Certified 200+ HIV Prevention Counselors and Testers in Mexico through WHCI Latin America
